As a breeding stallion Hisani’s had his first Scottsdale Champion, Regional Champion and National Top Ten from his first foal crop.  He has been on the Yearling Sweepstakes Leading Sire List twice and is in the Top Five on the Leading Juvenile Sire List this year.  His oldest foals were born in 2007 and in 2011 he already has 2 Champions in WP divisions as well as 6 Top Fives in WP and HP.  That year alone his sons and daughters won 3 Championships, 3 Res. Championships and 4 Top Fives in Halter.  Hisani has exceeded Betty's expectations and he has continued to do so.

Hisani's story

"As Khochise was growing old, I decided to start looking for a colt to be our next breeding stallion.  Over a period of two years, I looked at a lot of beautiful colts but none that met all my criteria……beautiful and correct enough to win at halter, athletic enough to be my next national level western pleasure horse, pedigree to make him a desirable breeding stallion and possessing a disposition to make him a pleasure to live with.  Feb. 1, 2005, I found the right colt and he has exceeded my expectations in every way.  NYN Hisani was foaled on April 22, 2004.  He was bred by Lee and David Black.  Sired by Marwan Al Shaqab and out of their beautiful Versace daughter NYN Imara Versace.  Hisani was at Michael Byatt’s when I found him.  He was beautiful, correct and had this great western lope.  His pedigree was double Fame VF (all time leading sire of National winning western pleasure horses as well as many National winning halter horses), double El Shaklan and double Ruminaja Ali.  The kindness of disposition was very apparent and reinforced by seeing the kindness of his sire, the great Marwan Al Shaqab.  As of this point in time, August, 2011, Hisani has been Top Ten Yearling at Scottsdale, Region 5 Champion Yearling Colt, US National Top Ten (3rd) Yearling Colt placing 1st, 2nd, and 5th.  In 2007 he was the Canadian National Champion Futurity Colt and the US Reserve National Champion Futurity Colt.  He has also been a Res. Ch. at Scottsdale.  Hisani is now pursuing his performance career." - Betty Radtke
